The department of Samhita and Siddhant deals with study of ancient classic texts and advocates the basic and fundamental principles of Ayurveda. The department also promotes the linguistic study of Sanskrit and Ayurvedic foundations through Indian philosophy and Darshan Shastra.

The department caters to the study of human anatomy from Ayurvedic as well as Modern Science perspectives. The department is equipped with cadaver demonstration facilities and virtual body manikins for practical understanding of anatomy and musculoskeletal disorders.

Kriya Sharir focuses on the study of human physiology from Ayurvedic and Modern Science perspectives. The department conducts physiology tests including hematology, biochemistry, serological tests, prakruti parikshan, pulse examination, and blood pressure examination.

Dravyaguna focuses on medicinal herbs, their identification, pharmacological actions, collection, utilization, processing, and Ayurvedic properties like Rasa, Virya, Vipaka, and Guna. The department also maintains a scenic herbal garden with more than 255 herb species.

This department deals with purification and processing of metals, gems, and Ayurvedic formulations. Students learn medicine preparation methods, dosage principles, pharmaceutical techniques, and traditional formulation procedures essential for quality Ayurvedic medicines.

The department specializes in pathology and diagnostic procedures from Ayurvedic and Modern Science perspectives. It trains students in hematology, sonography, x-ray, urine examination, stool examination, Nadi Pariksha, and other diagnostic techniques.

This department promotes preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle practices, diet regulation, yoga, and holistic wellness. It focuses on physical, mental, and spiritual health conservation through Ayurvedic and Yogic principles.

The department provides specialized education in toxicology, poison management, forensic medicine, and medicolegal aspects of medical practice. Students are trained to work effectively within healthcare and legal systems.

Prasuti Tantra Evum Stri Roga is dedicated to gynecology and obstetrics, offering specialized knowledge and clinical training for diagnosis, treatment, and women’s healthcare management.
